Bitumen Storage Tanks

Bitumen storage tanks are available with capacities ranging from 20 to 1,500 tons. Tank types are determined based on the installation site and specific operational requirements.

Bitumen storage tanks are manufactured in vertical and horizontal configurations, with or without agitators. Agitated tanks are used for storing specialized asphalt products—such as bitumen emulsions and modified bitumen—that require continuous mixing to prevent separation.

Non-agitated storage tanks are used for storing standard asphalt and heating it to the required operating temperatures.

Bitumen storage tanks achieve high energy efficiency through the use of insulation materials that meet European standards. They are designed with protected ladders and guardrails to ensure safety during maintenance, repair, and operation. Various control sensors are monitored via the main system to ensure occupational health and safety.
