The bending machine features a rigid frame supporting a loading piston, a relief valve, and a control pressure gauge. The entire assembly is housed in a casing that protects individual components from dust and shields the operator from potential hazards. A small receptacle is mounted beneath the crossbar where the steel rebar is bent. Two reaction rollers are positioned on the crossbar; they are easily adjustable relative to each other to accommodate the spacing required by standards for rebar diameters ranging from 5 to 40 mm.
Mounting and changing mandrels at the top of the pushing ram is quick and convenient, ensuring seamless interchangeability for the operator. A safety device prevents the rebar from slipping out during the test and keeps the reaction mandrel secure during bending and rebending operations.
180° specimen bending: only with mandrels up to a maximum of 96 mm.
90° specimen bending and subsequent rebending to a minimum of 20°: only with mandrels larger than 96 mm in diameter.
The machine accommodates bars up to 40 mm in diameter and comes complete with two sets of rollers, with diameters of 50 mm and 100 mm, respectively.
