The Asphalt Emulsion Production Plant is a system designed to ensure the homogeneous dispersion of asphalt particles within water—facilitated by chemical agents—thereby rendering the asphalt cement fluid and workable under ambient conditions.
Asphalt emulsions are produced by mixing specific proportions of asphalt cement, solvent (diluent), emulsifier, water, and acid, and passing the mixture through a mill. The entire system is mounted on a chassis, making it portable and relocatable.
Asphalt Emulsion Production Plants consist of the following components:
• Bitumen line,
• Latex line,
• Mill,
• Emulsifier and acid weighing unit,
• Compressor and pneumatic line,
• System control and management cabin,
• Water storage tank,
• Truck loading line,
• Electrical control cabinet and system,
• Emulsion storage tank and system.
Key features of the production process within the Asphalt Emulsion Production Plant include:
• Precise production of emulsified bitumen based on specific formulations, utilizing accurate flow meters for bitumen and water,
• Automatic temperature control via a hot oil heating system,
• Heating of all equipment in contact with the emulsion—using either hot oil or electric heating—to prepare the system for stable, continuous production,
• Use of corrosion-resistant materials for all components in contact with the emulsion.
